From 1 May 2025, a new rule applies that all foreigners entering Thailand must complete an online Thailand Digital Arrival Card (TDAC) before arrival. This card replaces the old paper TM6 form and is designed to speed up and simplify the immigration process.
Exceptions
Exceptions are transit passengers who do not pass through immigration control and those entering with a Border Pass for certain border crossings.
What do passengers have to do?
Passengers must complete the card within 72 hours prior to arrival on the official website tdac.immigration.go.th. or directly on this page below
The process includes:
Filling in personal data (name, surname, date of birth, nationality, passport number, visa number if applicable).
Details of the trip (date of arrival, means of transport, purpose of stay, address in Thailand).
Health declaration, including a list of countries visited 14 days before arrival.
Checking all the information, entering your email to send the card as a PDF and downloading a digital version to have on entry.
