Pick up at the hotel
Pick up time may be delayed if you are waiting for cruisers ahead of you. Don't worry and wait, the air-conditioned car will definitely arrive for you.
The trip starts early in the morning at 7:30 - 7:45 am, when the minibus will pick you up at your hotel. The journey to the port takes about 30 - 50 minutes.
Soft drinks and water are available on the shared boat. This is a speedboat, which will take you to the islands in 45 minutes and give you plenty of time to explore the beauty of the marine park.
Once you arrive at your destination, jump into the water off Koh Wao and enjoy great snorkelling with lots of colourful fish. If you're lucky, you'll see whales called Humpback Whales in the distance.
The next stop is the famous islet with a turquoise or emerald lagoon in the middle, which is formed by sea water, which is very unique. You will take photos from the upper viewing platform, see stingrays and barracuda from the lower viewing platform, which is located directly above the lagoon.
From the viewpoint, you will head back out to sea, directly onto kayaks, where you will circumnavigate the picturesque limestone cliffs and discover the nooks and crannies of the marine park. It's time for lunch, which is served buffet style on a "private island".
Fortified by lunch, you'll head to Wua Ta Lap Island, home to the most beautiful viewpoint in Samui and the surrounding area. The hike up to the viewpoint is 500 metres and appropriately challenging, but the reward of a spectacular view of all 42 islands in the marine park is well worth it. You can also visit the stalactite cave, take pictures of the Langur monkeys or just have a "nap" on the beach.
It's time to return, hop back on your speedboat and arrive back on Koh Samui around 16:30, followed by farewell and transfer to your hotel/villa/home.
